Southern England - Stourhead Estate Grounds

Stourhead estate was bought by Henry Hoare in 1717 and he put a lot of money into building and renovating. He died before it was finished. It was completed by his wife and one of his sons also called Henry. The grounds includes monuments, a chapel, a lake, a 'coloseum', a grotto and other buildings used by the family for entertaining guests.
